2013 Scarf Festival : National Wool Museum

December 10, 2012
Excitement abounds : the 2013 Scarf Festival theme has been announced by the National Wool Museum in Geelong (Victoria, Australia).

Home…

What does home mean to you?  How will you say it in a scarf?

For 2013 the National Wool Museum invites scarf makers from across the globe to answer a most heartfelt question – what is home? Whatever it means to you, however you define it, shape it and live it, this is your opportunity to create a scarf that explains, explores and explodes the myths and realities of what it means to belong.

So, pull up a comfy chair, make yourself a nice cup of tea, hop online and visit our home page for more information about how you can get your feet under the table and join in one of Australia’s most exhilarating textile competitions.

For those of you into creating beautiful textiles : felt, sew, knit, crochet, mixed media …. this is an opportunity to showcase your talents.

Visit the website for all the details on how to enter.

Love it.
