Meet The Guys

A brief diversion from all things yarn for a moment in time … Meet “The Guys”.  Can’t remember their real names but I bought them recently at a brilliant exhibition at Open Drawer. The work is by Ann-Maree Gentile of AmUsing Clay.  She hails from Warrandyte in Victoria where she has a studio which is open (at times) to the public.  Ann-Maree  specialises in whimsical one off clay sculptures – often made from whatever is on hand, recycling and playing with different materials. Her work has a strong pop influence with many recurring themes and icons.  Who could resist these gorgeous faces????
