Snugglepot and Cuddlepie
June 12, 2011I am published. Or I should say “we” are published. My sister in law Margaret and I submitted a freeform crochet/knit piece to the International Freeform Crochet Guild as part of 2011 Freeform Challenge : Mythologies, Stories and Fairytales. The challenge was to create one freeform piece interpreting the theme. We were not restricted except that our creation was to include include some crochet or knitting. Our piece was inspired by May Gibbs’ iconic Snugglepot and Cuddlepie childrens’ stories. Over 50 submissions were received and they have now been published in a book based on the theme.
